I wanted to take this time out to say I'm so happy for the states that passed their cannabis bills! I'm not really following the election, I was more concerned with if these states can finally get their medicine they deserve!

Its a plant for crying out loud, I'm just so happy to see that more people are opening up!

Here in Florida we have taken the first step in the right direction. It will be a year before anything come to fruition, but the next big thing will be full legalisation.

It's a start. It is estimated about 500,00 of us will finally get relief. Still no home grown, YET. We now have amendment, laws should follow after everyone realizes, 1. it helps people. 2. the streets are not full crazed drug addicts . 3. there is money in it for both taxes(politicians) and the economy.

Yeah, it looks like they are going to be very strict as to who has access to MJ and who can be a provider. Probably only big growers approved by the state etc.

I'd love to be a caregiver! Of course I'm in Colorado, so it's slightly easier, I just haven't been here long enough to check that stuff out. I hope now that these states have legalized, laws can get passed where growers can grow their own product!

Being a caregiver would take all the fun out of growing. Having to deal with the IRS and the unannounced visits. No thank you.....

PA is the same. Medical approval (except leaf product) but at least another 18 months until the first dispensary opens. I have made an appointment (couldn't get in until January) with my husbands gastro doctor. I'm hoping we can get him a medical card now, even though it's early. The bill was written than ONLY children with certain debilitating illness' could go out of state to buy their meds. That if that state will sell to out of state. District of Columbia is close to us, but I think their law forbids selling to out of staters, even if they have a card. It's a nightmare.
