If the top of a bud is amber and sort of stuck down, as in pics of harvest-able plants, but lower on the same bud they are still white then what?

Take the ripe ones down and let the rest rippen to where u like just my two cents

No problem with harvesting what's ready, then letting the rest mature. Have done that often, and I feel the plants actually enjoy being able to give every last bud, at the right moment! 🐸

It's the same bud / cut top of bud and leave the rest?

Yes indeed, just cut off what's ready, and the lower part will continue on. 🌿

Thanks, can't hurt even the white ones are a great buzz! What's the best sign it's past harvest?

If you're talking about the hairs on the bud being amber, that is not always a sign they are ready you need a good magnifier to look at the trichromes on the bud itself . Patience is tough but it pays.

Pistils that get damaged will turn to amber/brown.
