transplanting plant and lost a lot of roots - how much damage have I done?

Hi Guys, First grow. I recently transplanted my 3 plants from indoors to outdoors. Its been about 6 weeks since the seeds arrived and I started germinating them right away. They are feminized automatic Northern Lights. I transplanted outdoors into the ground and I thought I did a pretty good job, only thing that surprised me was the roots were all around the outside of the soil which i didn't expect as they are still very small and were in pretty big pots. Anyway unfortunately I stupidly chose a crap location, thinking about privacy at the time more than sunlight and the next day I decided to move them as they were basically shaded for most of the day. the move wasn't far only about 10 meters away. As they hadn't settle into the earth properly yet i just dug my hands in around the soil and lifted up the plant trying to keep as much soil as i could with my hands. As you could probably guess i lost a lot of soil and roots in this process. I did this with all 3 plants and replanted them in there new sunny spots I had dug out and then put more soil around them and watered them with nutrients.
So what do you think, how bad have I fucked it up? what are my chances of them surviving? thanks for your feedback!

They should be fine if you did the transplanting like you described , just watch them real close an don't overwater them. Good Luck the Bear.

They could definitely be fine they could go into shock and with autos tht will really hurt ur yield I dnt grow auto but from wht I read they dnt like to be transplanted better to just put them in the final container

Personally I don't think any kind likes to be transplanted, I also read that autos don't like to be topped, lst, manifolds but damn near everyone one GWE is doing it with great results. I know I just harvested my auto doing lots of LST an heavy defoliating without any problems.

I think ur right u always roll this chances when transplanting even tho I never have issues like I said I grow photos but since the autos on a short time schedule transplant shock can really affect yields i guess it's all about getting the skill and style down

I think alot of the you can't top ,you can't defoliate ,you can't manifold and a lot of the other you can't were from years ago, when they first developed the auto and maybe didn't know any better. There has been to many examples of doing everything you can think of to autos here on GWE with beautiful results, with many different varieties. They are pretty hardy plants. Transplanting may or may not slow their harvest day , depends on if your transplant went well or not, on how good you are at transplanting. My 2cents.
