SCROG question

I read LBH's tutorial and it said not to trim the would be popcorn buds (internodal branching) but my ladies are branchers. I have one I topped and kept 3branches to scrog. The 3 branches are now in about the 3rd 3.5" square with the screen about 4". The branches are to numerous to count. What do I do about these?

scrogging is a pain in the ass way to grow, but your potential yield can well be worth it. im on my second scrog and both times were unplanned and implemented to control a grow that got too big. which makes it even harder, lol.
first grow i kept pretty much everything, more defol than pruning. things got dangerously crowded and i was at very high risk for mold. i did get 2.25 lbs dry from just under a sq. meter tho, hair over a gram per watt which is insane for a.first time grower expecting 8 to 10 oz!
however, that was.crazy luck and i will NOT be risking the overcrowding again. fungus rot can run thru and destroy an entire crop almost overnight. screw that. so.yeah, i will be pruning the shit out of this run.
i just topped and switched to 12/12 this weekend, next weekend i will begin thinning them out as i have nearly twice the growth i need right now.
you can follow the tutorial as closely as you want, just keep the fundamental basics of growing in mind, and leave enough room in there for them to get air and light.

number of plants says nothing, lol. i plan to take closer to 2 lbs from my 4 plants in a 5×5. how big is your canopy? thats what tells you how much weight you should get.
you have a 1000w light in a 4×8 tent. its overkill like mine but with a light mover you are capable of hitting 3 lbs on average! a full 4×4 with 600w will get you about a lb. and your guns are bigger than that! but let me.tell you, scroggin the full size of your tent sucks! getting up in there presents some challenges, lol, and im definately downsizing after this one.

4x8 tent 4x4 screen. Have a 2x2 tent on way for clones/ early veg. It will sit in the vacant rear corner of the tent.

More or less it's personal preference I kind of like the little popcorn buds myself but if you cut those off it does tend to make the top of the plant grow stronger and thicker. I have a skunk number 1 in a little mini scrog the net is so low everything will be above it anyway. Love to see a bigger picture of what you got there looks pretty awesome.
