I think I killed all 5 of my girls :(

After they sprouted nicely (thanks to everyones advice) I put them in rooters and kept them wet, humid, and warm under dome.

They ceased growing (I opened up the plug to check after seeing nothing for 5 days) the roots turned slightly brown and slightly shriveled like moldy vegetables.

Did I keep them too wet? I kept the rooters damp and warm, how much water do you give a plug, i'm very sad.

Keep them damp not soaking wet.

I'm sad for you.. I only used a rooter for my clone. Seeds, I plant in in those little compressed discs that increase ten fold when watered. Then at about 10 days old, I put the entire swelled pellet in solo cup with good soil. Maybe you kept them too wet. I personally don't like to handle those tiny little sprouts, that's why I germinate in soil. I know it is a recommended way to do it. Do you have more seeds? Try sprouting using a different method.

I have 20 more White Widow Fem and 10 "Mystery Seeds" from Nirvana. I am looking for feedback before I "Black Thumb" more seeds.

I would recommend NOT planting any of the mystery seeds at the same time as the Fem White Widow. You don't want a boy showing up in the mix. If you plant the seed directly in soil in a cup with holes cut in the bottom for drainage you may have better luck. Fill the solo cup only half full of soil, that way once they sprout, they reach for the light and develop a very long extremely delicate long stem. You can add more soil to cover up some of that long stem without a transplant invoilved. Good luck!!

And, if you don't want to risk losing too many more seeds (which hopefully you won't) why don't you just start with 2 or 3. Once they have sprouted and seem to be thriving plant a few more if you want.

Please try without the dome. Even if you rh is low the seedling will do fine if you keep it moist and warm.

Your seedlings probably died from "damping off". I ruined 2 seedlings before from too much humidity. I stopped using the dome and have had great success. The plug needs to dry out a bit and you need oxygen in the root zone.

When your rooter plug is dry it has a very distinct light brown color. The wetter it is, the darker it gets. If it helps grab 2 plugs, one wet, one dry so you can have a reference. Squeeze the wet plug until most of the water comes out. That's how you should keep it. Err on the side of keeping it more dry than wet. Use a spray bottle with room temp distilled water, preferably. Spritz them when the plug feels dry and is getting light in color.

              Works great for me.

This is all great advice, I will germ a few more and go domeless with better drainage. Thanks very much.

When those seeds come up dump the dome... Remember you are spring for those seeds not to hot, not to cold.

I soak seeds over night (no more than 24 hours) then plant them in solo cups with holes it the bottom. Start with light damp soil and only mist with a spray bottle for the first week. I cut the top off of plastic water bottles so that each seed has it's own dome. Remove the dome after a week. I buy my seeds from Nirvana and all my seeds have sprouted, including the mystery seeds, with out fail and thrived.

                          Sorry for your loss Weed...
i agree bon't do freebies with White Widow unless you want to practice with your plugs and / or learning to sex your plants.
i use a light spray bottle of pH water on my plugs/rapid rooter...only if they feel / look as Royal says dry.
                          hang in there.

You guys are right about those plugs being wet, I opened up the dome and didn't water them, its been 48 hrs and they're still heavy damp.
Poor girls never had a chance.
