Importance of a good final flush

I found this article to be very interesting about what happens to a cannabis plant's triches and terpenes during an extended final flush (with some final additives) of 3-4 weeks:

Anyone can grow schwag. If you want to grow top shelf bud, study hard: https://www.growweedeasy.com

Growing since July 21, 2016; pothead since 1967
2 BCNL Roommate hydroponic grow boxes w/ 400w COB LEDs, Future Harvest nutes
Grow # 18, Aug. 2023: Anesia Seeds: Imperium X, Future 1, Sleepy Joe, Slurricane

Hey redbeard, he's primarily referring to soil grows:
"Some gardeners do nothing but flush for this entire stage, especially if they have fed their soil properly." Since I'm DWC, I was figuring I may not be able to go quite that long, but a flush with PK and molasses: I might try that.

I was told by Mr Kind of KindSoil that if I followed their instructions I wouldn't have to do a flush , a couple of buds got ripe before others and I have already tried it and I can't tell anything but how good it tastes , even quick dried in a Brown paper bag, I didn't have to add nutrients they were already in the soil , easiest way to grow pot I have ever seen. Pretty sure all of the "supersoils" are like that. P.S. I have to admit I'm not one of those kind that every time I take a big ole toke wiggled it around in my mouth like them wine tasters do . But I agree with Alltatup on trying to flush out all of those nasty nutrients.

The more I read about cannabis, the more I conclude that there is controversy about EVERYTHING!!! I read in a couple of places today that some folks consider the final flush "cannabis abuse" and that you're starving the poor plant. But clearly the vast majority of what I consider reputable sources say the final flush is going to make for a smoother smoking final product and white ash.

Seriously: Is there anything about growing cannabis that everyone agrees on????

      Nope.
There is to much big money that would like to keep cannabis in the dark. No controlled testing on a large scale. I for one have taking the approach that I have been lied to my whole life about what is right and what is wrong and the only way to have a decisive opinion for myself is to do it for myself.
I'm in coco and I flushed my last plant for three weeks due to no advancement in the Amber color in tricromes after the first signs.

Cannabis abuse that's funny shit Alltatup. The ones that say that are also the ones that pick up a nasty ass roach an take it a mile back in the woods so it can survive instead of smashing it.

I use them for fish bait. Bream an Bass love them no sh-t either ,damn good fish bait ,no different than a cricket or a worm except a bigger target for the fish to zero in on. They sell them at baithouses and they always sell out before the crickets and worms. I got my scale yesterday that you said to get and I love that thing. Thanks again.
