Good luck with that, Sammy! I'll be interested to see how it works!

72.9 dropped overnight to 68.6 almost five degrees overnight may have not been $140 turd. Going to pick up some insulation today and try insulating this container should get another 3:4:5 degree drop I hope. Of course the real test is going to be when I put it in the grow room with a lights which maintains about 74 degrees so we shall see.

Well the pump brought it back up to 70 degrees even bought Insulation at the Home Depot a little redneck ingenuity Walla. Check temperatures again in the morning hoping for mid-60s.

Well the cheap insulation Did the trick got it down to 66.5. Next project is going to be disassembling a small beer cooler to use in a larger Reservoir 4 cooling more to come. This unit would work wonders in a well insulated cooler.

Holding steady at 64/65. I would have thought more dwc people would be interested little bit pricey but it does work have a great day people.

I wish I could do it, but you have to bore a large hole into your reservoir. I'm not set up to do that. I wish they made some kind of inexpensive immersible chiller... Someone's gotta come up with one.

There is another mini Chiller on the internet it's for fish tanks of course I'll try to post the link or at least the name of it this evening. Try Googling chill Solutions csxc-1 about twice as much as what I paid for this unit I've got but it says it cools more ?

I ain't tryna spend another $300 for a chiller, especially not for a two gallon reservoir. I bought a big one for my big growbox. Works like a charm.

They don't make what I need yet...But thanks anyway.

The best I can think of is using soda bottles refilled with water and kept in freezer.

Yeah, and they last about 45 min... I tried that with my large grow box, and that's not the way I'd want to go again...
