Well, the hellish weather went on not for a week, but for twelve days. There was a break for a while and now there may be four days well into what the news loves to refer to as "triple digits."
Of my four plants, one was simply burned to a cinder, for reasons I still can't figure out. The other three survived and are prospering, more or less. I was bringing them in during the worst part of the day and eventually just pulled them in for good until it was over, letting them get indirect light through the living room window. Surprisingly, they gave a substantial growth spurt when I did so. I just hauled them all in again, figuring I'd better, as one was showing signs of early heat contraction on some of its leaves, though fortunately no burning yet.
Of the three remaining plants, the tallest is 26" and the others a couple of inches less. All show signs of a lot of side branching and are deep green, except for a few damaged leaves that got dinged from all this moving back and forth.
I'm coming to the conclusion that the agricultural experts are right: Non-coastal California is no place to grow marijuana outdoors.Last edited by 600m; 07-06-2017, 05:00 PM.First-time California outdoor medical backyard grower -- Aurora Indica Feminized plants in soil.
