I can't tell if this is a banana or not. It also looks like small round buds on other parts. Should I just kill it before it harms my other plant?

It looks like a female to be. Don't kill it until you see pollen sacks. Sometimes they're just confusing

I agree, it just looks like a female. In fact when I magnify the photo it looks like there is a pistil.
