My light is cooled with A/C on a closed loop 😉 I can run as low as 72 in tent if I cranked up the exhaust and light cooling blowers. Winter may be a challenge lol. I can lower the light to 20" (26" now) and get 85k lux at 77 degrees. Temp probe is at canopy. This winter if heat is a problem I will dial it back to 600w and add 2 300w LED's. Oh I run it on super lumens now too not 1000 lol.

So back to the tops. 250/25=10 139/16=8.7 so I am less crowded. I guess I'm just worried that there won't be room around colas.

actually 5×5. 1000w is a lil too much for 4×4. cant imagine trying to control temps in a 4×4 with guns that big. took me most of the whole 1st grow to truly get it under control.
you can pretty safely defol the shit out of em to week 4 bloom, as long as they healthy and growing fast already. i kinda stalled myself out a bit stripping them down so hard after giving them hot nutes the week before. not really a bad thing tho, with 100% light penetration for a few extra days my flowers are developing nicely all the way down to the screen. plus, im so close to running out of headroom... im using every trick i know to keep them nodes tight and canopy low without stunting or weakening my yield.
im week 4.5 , i have 25 sq ft of canopy that is 16" deep at the moment. i have 10 to 14 days before upward movement about comes to a stop, and i only have 6" of rope left on my light hangers. plus my light is only 16" off the canopy and id be much more comfortable with 20" or MORE, lol. hopefully i can get a few inches back with the 2nd screen.

Great thanks. Today begins week 3 for me.
So you're in a 4x4 too and have 250-300 tops so there is no spacing between them? I'm learning.

Awesome thanks! When in flower is it to late to defoliate? Tomorrow will begin week 3.

    lookin good dude.
you can also defol the 3/4 hard, might let the 1/4 catch up in a few days.

7/26 I had an area running around 3" short rather than pulling down 3/4 of the grow I'm going to try opening up the area.

The girls of been drinking 3 gallons of water every day and the part per million has remained constant (+\-50) before water is added so I've been adding back nuted water. I am at 780ppm with pH of 5.8. The house-garden nutes with supplements really are worth the $55 per 14w cycle. I still add Calmag plus at 1/4 stgrength (I was adding at half strength but it has so much nitrogen with the HG nutes I was getting burnt tips) my tap water is only 180ppm oh and of course hydroguard full strength (2ml/g).
    been defoliating and pruning.

intergalactic_harvester His method was FIM and 4way LST. I have only one 4way FIM as I felt it took to long to recover so I topped the next 7 (also above 3rd node) they each have 2-4 heads. I then read an article on super Cropping and tried on 2 they went crazy and quickly grew 7 heads. I then experimented further and performed super crop on the other 2 until the stem above the 3rd node was mush. However, I did not bend the top. They quickly developed 7 heads although the main top was still dominate. On those two I have continued this method. They are only 8"(and 5w from seed to water on 7/19) tall but they each are 14" in diameter and I find that if I don't defoliate it continues to grow wider from the bottom as the lower branches seek light. When the branch makes it to a new hole I let it come through and provide shade for the others.

OMG you are so right. Seems nonstop. The wife asks what I do in there so long. I tell her I'm watching grass grow!

I go 12/12 Monday, looking at screen do you think I can fill most of it up?
