    Popular bloom ferts ppm

Not sure if anyone has done a list or comparison of the strength and ppm of popular bloom fertilizers. So i thought id share one. I decided to make my own fertilizer to better match my current soil conditions so i brushed up on my chemistry math and did some study.
I wanted to compare what companies were supplying with their recommended dosages and strength. So i looked up all the product safety files and found what i could on their specific gravity rating. With this and their garenteed analyasis plus dosage rating i could calculate their ppm.
I had to make sure on a few things as standards are a little wally with fertilizer companys. Iv assumed that all products rate their potassium and phosphorus in p205 & k20 and as have such compensated for this difference. Also the listed ppm is in a conversion factor of 0.50 or hannah. My preferred standard but if it were my way id have the readings in EC. The rated NPK system is also measured in w/w which seems to the the defacto standard now days, although sometimes you can find w/v products.
Also the conversion may be rounded or wrong because of incorrectly supplied density or dosage values for a product. But i think its accurate and should be within 10 or 20 ppm.
But again it could be wrong and what you measure with a ec/tds might differ because of other variables.

    Dynagrow Bloom
    NPK 3-12-6
    Density/SG 1.43
    Nitrogen 170 ppm
    Phosphorus 300 ppm
    Potassium 285 ppm

    Hawaiian Bud And Bloom
    NPK 5-50-17
    Density/SG 1.7
    Nitrogen 120 ppm
    Phosphorus 490 ppm
    Potassium 316 ppm

    Advanced Nutrients Ph Perfect Bloom
    NPK 1-3-5
    Density/SG 1.13
    Nitrogen 45 ppm
    Phosphorus 60 ppm
    Potassium 187 ppm

    Advanced Nutrients Big Bud
    NPK 0-1-3
    Density/SG 1.13
    Nitrogen 0 ppm
    Phosphorus 10 ppm
    Potassium 56 ppm

    General Hydroponics Flora Bloom
    NPK 0-5-4
    Density/SG 1.16
    Nitrogen 0 ppm
    Phosphorus 100 ppm
    Potassium 155 ppm

    Fox Farm Big Bloom
    NPK 00.1-0.3-0.7
    Density/SG 0.97
    Nitrogen 3 ppm
    Phosphorus 92 ppm
    Potassium 215 ppm

    Fox Farm Tiger Bloom
    NPK 2-8-4
    Density/SG 1 (Unknown)
    Nitrogen 105 ppm
    Phosphorus 422 ppm
    Potassium 211 ppm

    Canna Aqua Flores
    NPK 4-4-11
    Density/SG 1 (Unknown)
    Nitrogen 138
    Phosphorus 60
    Potassium 316

Compared to what we are used to, it appears that fertilizer products play it quite safe. No surprise there. I wanted to list fox farm bloom products but was unable to find density information on them. If anyone finds a error thats too big to ignore or has information on other fertilizer products including specific density, please let me know so i can add it to my list.

    Thanks.

Thanks for that, how did you get the ppm. Was it measured or calculated ?. Is that at the recommended dose ?
