I do it the same way. Up to 24 hour soak then paper towel. Summer lemons popped while soaking. 18'ish hours. Early frost is on a paper towel now still...

Green does a good job of obscuring the view of what's inside. You can see that they're plants, but you can't see what kind of plants. Look in the windows....
