    Gnats, notsees, midges, fruit flies,

Gnats, notsees, midges, fruit flies, how do YOU control or even get rid of them??? I’m starting to have a few extra notsees gnats hovering around. I don’t have an air pump for tea, but I do have Kelp and Neem, I can buy mint and cilantro locally but not sure if it’s organic, so it probably isn’t.
I was thinking mint mulch after a Neem & Mint Folier. Are there any problems with doing that

Hey Paracelsus, try keeping your soil dryer, and yellow sticky paper in your tent. Loving reading your other journal.
    Lots of air movement.

D.A.A.S.69 So there lies the rub!
I was told to keep the LOS surface moist. But the little air bombers seem to thrive on it. I am going to try a mint folier and mulch. I put down a 1/2 measure of Neem and Kelp and the Apple Cider vinegar has caught a few but with the last heat wave they got a jump on me.

Np I know you're going all organic so I definitely thought about it before I looked into it. I'd try various methods just to keep the critters in line. The cinammon is kind of intriguing.

Howdy Paracelsus, I'm not a soil grower, but I have seen others talk about controlling those bothersome pests buy covering the top of the soil with diatomatious earth. I use Azamax both directly in my reservoirs and as a foliar spray when I encounter an infestation of them, it takes a little time , but works well.
      Good luck with Your growing.

Gnats are the pesky two-winged flying creatures resembling mosquitoes, which are small in size but can drive you nuts at times. Gnats can cause harm to kids, house plants, kitchen wares and home pets, as they feed on plants, other insects, and blood. They carry parasites and spread diseases in human and livestock. They lay …

Try a layer of diatomaceous earth. It is will really keep things under control. I always use it at the start of every grow.

Paracelsus, good morning, read Mcubed476 post this morning about his plants.
He also had an invasion of bugs, from keeping his coco damp-wet all the time. Now he is having to use Neem Oil an traps to get rid of them, man I hate bugs, only bugs I like are on my fishing hook. Later Paracelsus and good luck! !

Garrett Juice and Orange Oil. 1 oz. each per gallon. Always PH then you can water in or foliar spray. No more bugs.
