      Howdy Kyle, Like UrbZ said, it could be the remnants (dissolved solids) left behind from watering. To be sure, get a loupe (60X or greater magnification) and take a closer look. If it is dried nutrients then it would appear crystalline, if it is a mold or fungus, then it would appear fuzzy or furry.
      I hope that it is from a water drop. Good luck.

        Looks like water drops - and why is there no perlite in your growing medium?

          I've personally never used any in mine... You don't have to use perlite with coco. It does look SUPER dry and in desperate need of some fluids.

        Looks like salt residue from nutes to me too.
