holes here and there in leaves....

no signs of intruders that i can see. Every now and then I find a leaf that looks like this, often I find them later and the edges around the hole have turned brown. This one seems fresh.

I'm in 2nd week of flower, if I start spraying now I'll be at up until flush? strain is 9-10 weeks flower

What if it's not bugs? what else could it be?

these leaves are few and far between. The holes seem to start at the serration of the leave and follow to grain. almost like it's growing and spitting a little bit

Ph fluctuations can cause this. Certain nutrient toxicity can also cause this. The leaves overall look fine. If it isnt terrible don't sweat it until it is progressing quickly.

Also I have a several leaves that have done that with no pests. Never thought much of them. As they were far and few between.

thanks, UrbZ, I've been running what if scenarios for a few days. My PPMs have been high starting off in flower, trying to get them down. I'll back off almost completely of the base nutes and see how they look

To be honest a few of them may have been caused by my lst training. I noticed a few of the paper clips i used found there way into new shoots from the plants growth. The leaves that finally grew out of those shoots had a few leaf injuries themselves.

g'day! what you've got (as far as I can see) are little insects called 'jassids'. they are tiny, but you can see 'em if you look close. they can do harm in big numbers which is unusual. a spray with Pyrethrum (natural, from a type of marigold) will fix the problem immediately. cheers from the Land of Oz!

I'm pretty sure if Cronk lives somewhere hot this could be the issue. They prefer hot dry climates. Usually cotton and maze fields. I'm not saying they couldn't be but from looking at the article here on gwe you can actually see leafhoppers. They aren't that small and they're pretty colorful against the green of the leaves. Plus the damage does not really look similar at all.

Leafhoppers can be found all over the world and come in a variety of colors. If they are attacking your cannabis plants, learn how to get rid of them!

I'll look into this possibility, never heard of them, honestly. If they do depend on hot climate it;s been in single digits here quite often over the last couple of weeks.

        thanks for your input

I've had something similar happening to my ladies I've gone over my tent plants and soil with a fine tooth comb and no traces of bugs anywhere teens here are in the 30s so I can obviously rule that bug out. I have a post thinking it was the Borg or something. Thinking it was a deficiency or a pH swing. Could have been some uneven light schedules trying to get a good veg. Idk at a loss been a big question on my brain.

exactly what I chalked it up to, nutes or water. I still see it here and there but no other signs and no problems otherwise. It's a leaf thing. building buds here
