sativa is a different animal altogether. i want more experience before i play with them, lol. indicas seem pretty hard to really mess up during veg, makes em great for a beginner like me.

POKEDSMOT "vegetable/juarez avocado" that is hysterically funny, and helps me wrap my head around how I'm going to keep from killing my seedling.

I run a RDWC setup indoors during the winter, you'll be happy with the results you get from you system.
I use 1 to 1 or 2 to 1 CBD to THC for chronic epididymitis and herniated disc in my back. Works really good for pain relief, no narcotics anymore. My first grow is going to be cannatonic which should come out around there because it's just really hard to find here at the dispenseries.

During lights out decided to redo the ventilation system. Closed the side flaps and running 6" flex from the a/c supply. Turned the light around to have better access to the bulb and move the carbon filter. Moved reservoir to center the light over the plant. Also some Swai I'm cooking with dehydrated trim and butter garlic and πŸ‹.
alltatup I saw the in your signature that you are running a cooler since the 17th. Any chance of a review or write up?.

POKEDSMOT Here's my comments on the chiller:

ActiveAqua 1/10 hp and EcoPlus 728495 Eco 132 Submersible Pump, 132GPH

Got the chiller on eBay for $180 free ship, which is at least a hundred bucks cheaper than many other places. It's $284 on Amazon. A buddy and I thought about it and discussed it for a week, and then we had a plan: We drilled 3 holes through the side of my growbox and into the top of the reservoir, placed the grommets and inserted tubes. My buddie cut the power cord for the pump to insert it, and then clamped it back together and wrapped in electrical tape.

Now I was having problems with light leaks on the second grow, which is what caused the great algae crisis of early 2017. All the light leaks are taken care of, and so far, I love the chiller. My BCNL sales rep said it wasn't necessary; he suggested installing a window AC unit to keep the room temp at 70, but that was out of the question for me. I always wanted the chiller because a lot of growbox folks had spoken highly of what a difference in the grow they make.

I am very happy with it, and my roots look so much better than they did on grows 1 and 2. It gets very hot where I live in the summer, and I'm really glad I got it installed before the heat hits.

Exactly. Next grow I'm going to upgrade the reservoir. Want to stay in the 7-10 gallon range. But lower profile (can get 4" more growing height) and thicker material and either making a chiller or buying one.

what do you mean by clamped? Where is the cord that has been fixed? Outside the grow area near where it plugs in somewhere? An electrical junction box would be a safer and electrically compliant way to cover up a rejoined cable, you can even get waterproof ones if there's the potential they could get wet. They're not expensive and can be bought from an electrical supply wholesaler or possibly even a hardware store.

I bet you'll be glad to finally switch to flower after 12 weeks since germination considering there's another 10-11 weeks of flowering on top of that. Looking great so far, hopefully your results will be worth the wait of 5-6 months.

πŸ’šπŸ’§πŸŒ±πŸŒΏπŸŒ²πŸ”œπŸŒ» She recovered nicely. Thinking of going 24/0 for the next four days. Then rez change, transition nutes, light trim before going 12/12.

Any thoughts on how much to trim and/or going 24/0 ΒΏ????? If I go 24/0 that would give me an extra day under the lights before going 12/12. As far as trimming, Im thinking of just trimming the lowest and biggest leaves.

Thanks IGH. Thinking of defoiliating all but the two leaves closest to the new growth. The lights go out at 1pm. So Friday I'll defoil. Saturday at 1 I'll do the res change. The set the timer to come on at 7am Sunday and start 12/12. That'll give them 18 hrs of darkness.

              Is it Friday yet.

sweet! let her bush up with continued training and spot defol for light. supercropping is good during this time and for at least the next 3 weeks. makes thicker more productive main colas. good luck!

Well the switch hasn't gone well. It looks like I used 1.5 ml dropper instead of a 1 ml to measure the nutrients and ended up with nutrients for 7gal instead of 5gal. I think I got lucky that she got nute lock otherwise she would be burnt to hell.

I was chasing pH too. Leaf tips curled up then down and noticed some spots yesterday along with light green/yellowing the leaf veins . Drained the res and added a fresh Batch of GWE nutes and going to leave the Floralicious out until she's healthy again. After 3 hours the tips are almost all straight and the Veins are green.
