  • KISS grow: Fastbuds Girl Scout Cookies- autoflower

On a quest making it less complicated/expensive, as far as, the work/reward ratio. <- my goal when first joining GWE!

    The set-up:

strain: 1 Girl Scout Cookies- Fastbuds via Seedsman
combination 1 gal fabric and 3-5 gal nursery pot, likely
    Coco/Perlite initially
Roots Organic Original (amended) and additional nutrients as needed.
2x4x6 tent with 4" ventilation exhaust fan & 2- 3 in tent fans for circulation.
    MarsHydro reflector48 for "veg" phase
    MarsHydro reflector96 for flowering phase

    Following these guides:
    https://forum.growweedeasy.com/forum...photo-examples
    https://forum.growweedeasy.com/forum...er-intentional

Planted in a 1 gallon fabric pot- folded down to about 2/3 gallon.

I will post crop milestones and whenever I handle the plant for topping/defoliation/tie down/harvest, etc.

Feed/water is going to be different depending on your environment, but I will note the current frequency with posts.

    Into the tent- 28" under a MarsHydro reflector48 @ 20/4.

85-99 grams (3+ oz) per plant with MarsHydro's. My guide with MarsHydro was 1oz per 100 LED watts.

I've changed to CoBs/ChilledLogic - and will have to see if that increases-
The bud quality is substantially better!

This is cool, what kind of yields on average from auto flowering?

It certainly isn't slowing anything down- by starting in the final container.

Those seem less stressful for transplanting autos would work great.

Update: I no longer transplant and have found using a double germbag works well.

Here is a Seedsman Onyx autoflower at 13 days topside in a 5 gallon fabric pot.

I read with interest on how your girls did in a low RH environment. I don't see much, if any, issues. With my 315 in a small grow room, I have been running a 2 gallon humidifier just to get humidity into to mid to upper 40's and that requires filling humidifier daily. Not part of my KISS grow dream!! 😂

Eigholte, I water the area contained within the stem to drip line with more along the drip line, as this is coco/perlite and needs to not dry out, but you can not overwater the seedling either.
Looking for the roots to seek water into the soil which will wick the water.

I know this is an oldie, but I have a question. When you say "Water to the drip line" , do you mean you're watering the area from the stem to the drip line, or from the drip line to the pot margin? (Sorry, just really curious)

And then there was two, which will begin the harvest window in a few days!

Harvested one plant- "garden risk management" with hot/humid weather forecasted and me being out of the country for a few days.

Noob here - what are you using to tie those down? Green rope, or...?
