But is it wise to grow a plant on the outside edge of a fabric pot and not in the middle?

I have cloth pots, the outside edge (about 3") of the soil stays dry

Leaned them over. First time doing this for me. Gingerbeard Been watching examples from a few growers here. Hope it Isn't to early?? did it last night and they pulled the stakes up. Got longer wires and went sideways downward, holding for now. Coco isn't as firm as soil.

Never too early. Keep the leaves off the soil.

I tried to keep the leaves off the soil, recon parchment paper between the soil and leaves would suffice?? Gingerbeard.

Dunno. Never done it. If a leaf touches soil, it is begging to be plucked.

Had to dig out a little to get fans off the substrate. Scarlet runts has all her stems pointing up. She sure is a short one. 20 days since pop. First time leaning one over. Its about stretch time.

They look great just don't get too extreme. Let them grow up a little. I try to shoot for a 40 to 45 degree angle on all the branches including the main.

Please forgive me but why do you lay her down like that? Why would you not manifold her. Am I missing something? are they Auto's? I been growing a long time and I have never heard of this technique unless trying to keep her lower than a fence or something.

dirtymike Looking good sir! MrMagic I like to lay my autos over similar to how MrDirty is. I saw the technique from a big YouTuber maybe Mr autoflower?!?! 🤣 it’s a great way to expose all the lower bud sites and I tend to get 8-10 colas depending on all things. I think of it as a less intrusive topping. I try to time my bends around day 21 or first sign of flower. Twenty20 did a nice write up on transplanting autos and they note the first 21 days without stress are crucial to autoflower success. But obviously every plant and certainly every breeder will be a bit different. Only thing I do different is to set an anchor wire from the pot to the base of the plant to keep it from potentially uprooting when putting the bend on the main stalk.

What I've read and witnessed so far on LST for Auto flower is to do it early and wait for the stretch. The first week in flower should be time for swazzing. Transplanting can be done but its tricky as Nixon.
