$225 in parts coming this week. Just a little reminder of the job.

You know what I hate? All states but green. I'm in one of the dumb ass yellow states.

alltatup I have 6 qualifying conditions in IL. The list was very much shorter in the beginning. First pain doc used muscular dystrophy in 2016, technically accurate. He retired young, Botox neuro used chronic pain this year. I also have Sjogren's, Migraines, Dystonia, Osteoarthritis. Cancer fell off the list when my L kidney was removed or I'd have se7en qualifiers. I wish I could sell a few of them.

alltatup For whatever reason, when I'm having a really rough day eating sugar/chocolate/something sweet makes me feel better than I was. Dunno why. I eat healthily when I feel like cooking. I'm not hungry very often, piece of cheese, like a rat, for something in my stomach to take my calcium horse pills.

alltatup Mormons in Utah. Quakers in Pennsylvania. Christians are everywhere else. Then you have Texas, IA, KS and other flatland cowboy places. Finally, the yokels. They like the mountains and forests of the big swathe of yellow over east. Also called hillbillies and rednecks.

All them folks you mention have great redneck potential, or GRP. I lived in TX for 18 years: greatest GRP I ever saw in my life.

Grew up my formative years in and around Duncanville. Dallas address. Also Lived in Louisiana. Army on the TN/KY border. I am aware of the GRP. Swamp folk and canal rats, too. Even met a couple Bedouins. But that was somewhere else.

Snakes, but only if they see me first.

Was taking my morning stroll and gather some ripe saskatoons, raspberries and mulberries along the way for breakfast. Reached into the raspberry bush and almost pulled out a corn snake! It was giving me the evil eye and flickering lounge...

Don't hate the harmless corn snake!!!!!

I hate that my car is the same model as a police car but known issues are only warrantied for the cops' cars. I hate that I had to repair my central AC last week; had to buy two new tires this week, have them installed, new ones rotated to the front, $70, and the next time I drove the car there were new noises. Now the tire installer says I need rear brakes and have a bad front tie rod, after just changing out the tires I find it quite hard to believe they didn't notice any of this. They said my tie rod was bad last winter, next day I got a call "car's fixed" - new front axle $850, no heads up or phone call to inform, get permission. I guess I hate this month, year and life. I hate that I can't drive to the dispo to get some/any medicine after just paying for a new card because my car's fucked up, it's an 07 Impala with <73K miles. I have a garage, I do scheduled maintenance: oil/filters changed, radiator flushed, tires replaced, etc but here I lie. I hate gaslighting doctors, doctor-wannabe nurses, and liars. I hate suffering all year with pancreatitis because a COVID cough matters more than me, after more than two years of available, free vaccines. I hate that my saintly white grandmother, eldest of 17, worked like a slave, right next to them in rich family homes then the woman of the house withheld money promised to her by the husband because she worked so hard for a big party they held. I celebrate my beloved White Grandmother, who died from a surgeon's mistake on my 16th birthday, on this Juneteenth.

When I was 16, Sears tried the same thing: do work I didn't ask for. The end came when I told them I wasn't paying for the work. They would either replace what was there or give it to me free. Sears knew he was trying to rip me off and wound up tearing up the invoice. If you didn't authorize it, don't pay. If they don't give you your car for not paying, use a credit card and cancel the charge when you get home. I don't know your state. California looks down on such scams.

Gingerbeard I'm not sure about time parameters for a credit card dispute on some, waiting to have someone I trust take a look. My go-to retired guy's employee has his own shop, learned via a FB group that doesn't allow politics. Calling in the morning, he's good, used to teach at the community college. His former boss could diagnose most stuff over the phone by model, year, and symptoms. Fun times hanging in that shop waiting, he was good and fair. I want photographs, and need to know how urgent, prices and appt openings. I can't afford for something worse to happen by driving it until he sees it. The tip broke off my Seahorse already, after using almost one gram of that Black Afghani, luckily they sell 5-packs in town. I added some of that Powder to badder that was weaker but cheap, I'm out of gummies for sleep. The dogs' nails are looking like talons. And I'm starting to sound like a sad old country ballad. Thanks for replying.

-The day after a microwaveable, plastic encased, liquor store double cheeseburger with jalapenos. Probably better than the microwaveable, butcher paper wrapped, liquor store bean and green chili burrito. I've sense enough to avoid those. Poor D and her heightened olfactory capabilities.

-Not having a car to refill my larder in time to avoid eating liquor store food and offending D. If I think about it another way, now D knows how I feel. I'm going to give her a two fisted cup-a-fart.

I haven't had a convenience store chicken salad sandwich in quite a while, since I quit doing other crazy stuff. Ugh. No judgment. Not sure if I prefer clam shell container or paper wrapped mystery meals. I'm boycotting the only liquor store in town, don't drink anyway, EverClear's cheaper if I head east, close enough.

You had to remind me by mentioning cup-a-fart. Nephew was here Friday, a pug kept hanging by him, other side of the LR, creating stench. Nephew smelled the dog's breath, twice, suspected poop eater. Clean. I offered him a fan, the pug was glued to him. Nephew left then I was the recipient, smelled the dog's mouth, decent. He's my only breeder pet ever, his father's name is Fatso. Fartso is my profile pic. Could fresh, uncooked green beans cut up small but not even blanched cause such an alienating experience?

Thanks Rwise. I haven't had time to search with everything going wrong here. I was microwaving water hot and blanching them. Grumpy pug has gland issues, the roughage seemed to help. With car problems, the dispo and vet are over 20 miles away, I've been hindered. I know how to cook black beans fast in the InstaPot, I was trying to keep these non-soft so they accomplish the intended results. Pumpkin was the opposite of helpful. Fartso got me again today, fresh cut green beans, I slept in. He doesn't need the roughage, he's a fatso fartso, trying to fill up his bottomless pit with less calories. He will eat Anything, I've pulled so many things out of his throat surprised if he still has tonsils.

Speaking of which, you know what I REEEEEALLLY hate? Junk food, fast food, processed/packaged food that will stay "fresh" for 20 years, trans fats, preservatives, high fructose corn syrup, pesticides that kill bees and people, GMOs, the food pyramid, all OTC meds to treat the conditions that all of the above provoke in people and dogs, the prescribed meds to treat all the diseases caused by all of the above. I really and truly hate all that stuff. Gingerbeard better to fast than to eat that poison... Not to mention poor Dabber...

I was doing very well at eating well: no GMO, no soy, organic cane sugar, alternatives for wheat flour when baking, made my own yogurt with grassfed milk, made vanilla extract with G-F Tito's vodka, lot of stir fry with my own grown veggies, fruit-infused water instead of soda, bought organic non-gmo 'cheerios' for the pugs, got organic produce from bulk orders through a gal a couple minutes from my house, etc etc - I didn't feel better. Then a vet butchery,10 days in the ER vet ICU after a 3-hour surgery turned my 'budget' upside down, forever. Fartso has a rare disease too. I want to get back to eating stir fry and having pitchers of fruit water in the fridge. Baby steps. 80/20.

I don't do well without food, ATU. I was truly down to condiments.

I hate meth! The girl next door has kept me up most of the night pounding on my door/window "their after me" and "they stole your Harley" and a bunch of other meth head shit. So I go out and convince her to call the LEOs, they get here and now they are at the damn door 1:30 in the AM. They tell me that she told them I was being dragged behind a motor cycle, I laughed and told them IF she would stay away from Lindsey's drugs she would do better, they told me they are working on getting the drug dealer taken care of. I'm tired, and I am tired of this shit. What does it take to permanently shut down a drug store? It does get busted, but in 20 years has not been shut down for more then 48 hours. It does not help that this drug store is on the county line, step across the road and the LEO cant follow.

3Berries That really sucks. The seeded ditch weed looked like beautiful purple indica bud. Are you in state? it grows along every country road and along blacktopped roads here. It's fun to get high and take rides in the early Fall to spot the buds.

Over the years folk have moved in all around me, one can only buy so much land. Here in creek (pronounced crook) county the LEOs take money to let them do what they want. Years ago mu brother told me it cost him $5000 a month so he could walk around dirty with holes in his shoes and cloths. The drug store up the street sells not only meth but crack cocaine and the big H (sorry I cant spell it) and who knows what else (guns cars).

LOL My brother used to run up to Kansas and grab the hemp, bring it back and then treat it with dry ice, then sell it with "keep it out of the heat". Only one person came back and told me that I was right, keep it cold, and burn it fast!

Yes in Illinois middle of corn country. Next to Indiana though and the hemp is one of their biggest road weeds. They really did pay weed control officers to eradicate it from my county. But it's a very resilient plant. One ditch they dug out and resloped came up full of hemp. Hadn't been grow for decades.

    Ahh ditch weed

One reason to love internet. It saves a lot of gas!

I hate that not only do I have a bad tie rod end but the rear brakes + the rotors are bad ... and down the road some other part that isn't necessary but will need removing when it breaks. Less than 73K miles on an Impala. I am still pretty much grounded and can't take the pug to the vet until next week. I need to do that and need to stop at the dispo for a double bubble on gas usage. Five more days, missing out on my fave brands on sale, again. Not to mention scraping by and buying street weed, it gets delivered. My friend has been waiting for a vehicle she ordered 8 months ago, using her mom's car and doesn't want to drive it that far. Mobile groomer/vet tech isn't available until 7/1, she had shoulder surgery. Time to sell some furniture or something.

I get two different secondary ins co cards every dang month, with paperwork. I mourn the wasted trees and could make a backsplash with all the cards except I get triggered even seeing them. This has been going on since December, spent easily 60 hours on the phone. Their 'on hold' music sets me off. I have two piles of crap paperwork that I haven't felt up to dealing with.

I average 6 junk mails a year. Probably less. Every time I get one I look for the 'Unsubscribe' option. Also the sales options from the credit card companies. I prefer paperless because I also get the qweezies when there is an envelope in my box on the seldom occasion I get one. It's the slicks I hate.
