Jar shortage

    Everyone should have this problem. I can still remember my wife asking where all the jars went to. First the larger jars. Then the smaller jars until the beautiful harvest is totally consumed.


      Thanks everyone. I'll order some 64 oz glass from uline just to see what the lids are like. After searching the web for a couple days it seems that buckets and totes are used quite a bit. I understand everyone's fears of plastic possibly leaching chemicals and flavors and even down to static pulling tricombs off buds. I doubt anything that might leach out of the food grade bucket while curing can be any worse than the shit I breathe and deal with every day in a machine shop for the past 35 years. During all the searching I came across a idea of a auto burping bucket. Well hell, now I got to make one. Going to try one bucket just to see if there is a difference in anything.
      DIY 4x12 Farmacy box w/2 4x4x6 grow areas
      TrolMaster HydroX runs the whole show
      Dual tank Co2 injection w/ rain tubing
      10000 btu thru the wall A/C / 5000 btu heater
      50 pint dehumidifier/ cool mist humidifier
      8" intake fan w/ hepa filter / 8" exhaust fan
      2 Timber Fatty-vs COB 950 watt draw fixtures
      w/ added 4 2ft T5 Pure UV bulbs on each fix.
      2 DIY Hybrid DWC 5 gal bubble bucket systems w/ 55 gal reservoirs w/ PH dosers
      2 2"x2"cyl.stones in each bucket, 8"disk in reservoirs
      GH Flora series (entire line) + Orca
      Grow 3 = Blueberry 1 dwc 1 soil.

      Soil is great lakes "just add water" in 7 gal fabric bags

        I thought food grade 5 gallon buckets were safe.

        Machine shop worker eh, I was the dude you hated to see coming through the door at quitting time, cause it meant someone was working all knight. I did ovarhead bridge cranes,
