    When to defoliate autos?

Hey guys! My first grow was two photo GSCs. I performed major defoliations twice: once before the 12/12 switch, and once three weeks later. I’m now on my second grow and I’m about 2.5 weeks in, this time with two auto OG Kush from Nirvana, grown indoors in Nature’s Living Soil mixed with Fox Farm Ocean Forest. What is the general advice about auto defoliation? I want to avoid stressing them since they’re autos, but obviously want to maximize yields. These are indica leaning and the breeder states that they’ll grow somewhat short and busy. Thanks for any advice!

    Hi Rik
Here's a YouTube video. There are a few more if you search "defoliating autoflowers" on there. Also search "leaf tucking autoflowers" on YouTube. With both methods you are moving fan leafs out of the way of bud sites. It is my opinion that both methods can help autoflowers yield but they do take some time to master. Just don't be shy to give them a try.
