i dont wet trimm anymore, the leaves make for a great humidity buffer so the burping is going to depend on how dry those leaves are, if the leaves are soft then the jar needs to be open until those leaves are crisp dry. repeat every day until its "stable" enough that the leaves dont get soft overnight inside the jar. then i trimm and back to the jar to be opened twice a week

As with everything in this hobby there are many ways to do almost everything. A couple of interesting links in the comments above. I ordered some hygrometers as those seem like they would be best. When I get them I'll "calibrate" them using the 62%humid packs. Probably toss any fliers. Anyone ever experience hygrometers leaving a plasticy smell in the jar?

Tersky I've always done this early in cure so that they aren't compacted standing up whilst curing separates buds abit better. I leave lid open on there sides to air, then they will lay on sides in cabinet with lids on. I stand them upright once there dry cured, just enough to squeeze bud still sticky. I'm pretty OCD about it but I just lost a jar do to mold. I believe it was bud rot I missed. Took in down from closet, thought it looked funky greyish shook the jar pooof opened it cloud of dusty mold came out really bad. Only jar from that whimpy summer grow. Whole outdoor season not good, trying to salvage what it is. Looking forward to indoor tent finish.
