    Ants in my fabric pot

I have a plant almost three weeks in veg and I noticed an ant colony in my pot. What should I do? I have no problem with taking a cutting and dumping the dirt and starting fresh. Is that the best thing to do?

Try shaking some cinnamon on the soil it repelles some types of ants 🐜 lol

Really?? You just sprinkled ground cinnamon in your soil? That’s a great thing to know, not only for plants but in general. Hard to stop those fuckers

I sprinkled the inside edges between the pot and the dirt, put a fine layer over the top soil and rubbed some over the outside of the fabric pot. Plant shows no signs of stress but I still see an ant here and there. I'll keep a close eye the next couple days as it is my weekend so I kind of lucked out with the timing. If any problems occur, I will update this thread!

If you have ants... more than likely you also have aphids. Get some beneficial nematodes. The ants eat the sweet due created by the anphids.

I would start fresh and dump that soil
