    AHHHH ! microscopic Bugs

About 6 times the size of the head of a trichome. Blackish with white legs and others more tan color. Can;t send a pic cause you can't see unless moving. WTF

    Thrips?

Whats on your bulb? When my lights are off, all these black specks about the size of a shaved whisker are coating my bulb. Take a close look next time.
Mine are thrips. On the leaf they are tan specks that if you watch carefully, move around.

Not a terrible disaster pest, just a nuisance.

If you have to use 50x magnification or higher to see them, then you are dealing with Spider mites.(The Borg) Kill them quickly before they start to build webs.

If they that little, they must be some kind of beneficial bugs, they probably been in that soil forever, and ain't gonna hurt nothing,
But I ain't positive, lol. ,I'd keep an eye on your plants just to be sure though.
