Followed GrowWeedEasy bubbleponics setup but there is no growth

Hi. This is my first time growing and I followed this bubbleponics setup (https://www.growweedeasy.com/high-yi...nics-technique) step by step in my 2' X 4' X 7' tent (L X W X H). I began germinating my seeds on 8/18/2018. I put the seeds in a cup of distilled water and when they sank (about 10 hours later), I moved them to a damp paper towel in a tupperware container on a heating pad in a dark room. About 1 day later I saw taproots on 3 out of my 4 seeds. So then I moved all 4 of my seeds to rapid rooters and put them in the net cups with the top feed tube directly adjacent to the rapid rooters. (just like the bubbleponics setup says).

I then turned on the lights and have been using the top feed (at first I turned it on for the whole day then other forums told me to only turn it on for a minute or 2 each day). So they were transplanted to the tent on 8/20 and they've been there for 9 days yet they still have no growth. I have posted 2 pictures on imgur here:

I have been told many contradicting things such as I shouldn't have turned on the top feed until after 2 sets of leaves and also no light until i see leaves, yet the grow weed easy tutorial said I could have just put the seeds in the rapid rooters and turned on the lights and top-feed for 24 hours. Can anyone please give me some guidance on how to do this the right way? I only have 3 seeds left and its extremely hard for me to get them where I live. Any and all insigtht into a close to 100% succesful method would be appreciated.
This step-by-step grow guide will teach you how easy it is to grow cannabis using bubbleponics. This method provides consistent huge yields and a quicker harvest compared to most other grow methods.

Adjust your flow rate, if you can, so that the RRs are just barely wet and leave that on 24/7 the light will be fine to help give them a bit of warmth and direction. Also have you checked your PH?

Hello and thank you for the response. I'm not sure that the waterpump I have can be adjusted but in order to prevent drowning the seeds I just ensure that they are slightly damp and turn off the pump. I am also checking the PH each day to make sure it stays between 5.8 and 6.2 give or take. With so many people saying no light and others saying to give them light, how do you know what to choose? There seems to be an overwhelming amoutn of ways to try it but when you're limited on seeds it's daunting.

When I first started with DWC, I too followed the instructions closely and used a top feed. I've done two more DWCs since then and I no longer use a top feed. Since I am able to check my plant daily, I just use that time to run a few ounces of reservoir water through the net pot, wetting the hydoton without wetting the rapid rooter. I find this gives the seedling plenty of moisture and I stop all top feeding once I have a few roots down into the water. Works for me.

And I start using my light (on a timer) as soon as I germinate my seed. I just keep the light high enough to ensure there is no chance of heat burning my seedling.

For light, you can give it light BEFORE it has leaves, if you want. It’ll give your seed directional information if you don’t already orient your seeds in their RRs only when it has green leaves exposed does it start generating energy and growing.

Its completely up to you, neither way is better according to research.
