Spray plants for Prevention mite...

I recently found a bunch of Broad MItes in my veg room (interestingly they were on my thermometer and not my plants). I used Diatomaceous earth and they have not been back since. I also add a fair amount of Silica to my nutes early on so the leaves may be too tough for mites.

I've been using neem oil mixed with water to keep them little livestock away,it can b used up to harvest without any problem. I apply once every ten days with a spray bottle and I cover the whole plant underside of leaves too. Mine is a out door grow so it's needed I don't think an indoor grow needs as much and I would have to see insect damage before I would spray them, there are many ways to control insects that doesent use pestsides do your research .

It is never wise to spray liquids on a flowering plant once it gets to the point of having water trapping crevices... I personally will turn to fogging during flowering, but only if I have pests. Silica is added to the water you feed the plant, so yeah things like that are easy to give the plant during flowering and Silica makes the trichomes stronger, helps for bigger buds, etc... I can give you some great helpful resources if you want to learn more about it all... I know it continues to make a difference for me year after year, the more I know the better gardener I've become.

This is just me... but if I don't have a pest, I would prefer to avoid any and all pests by simple non-chemical methods... Seal the growing area, use stick traps on the floor and hanging, and keep everything in there clean... if you spill water, clean it up right away, see something dirty, leaves on the floor, etc... clean it up... prevention starts by having things clean, including you not bringing pests into the growing area, some people actually choose to shower and change into clean clothes before going to look at their plants as a part of pest prevention, so you don't carry them in with you from a pet or outside. Oregon even has passed a law on their commercial cannabis to which says they can't ever use a pesticide or a fungicide the entire plant's life... HOW? by the measures I outlined above and then because the room is sealed you can easily insulate and control the environment and even enrich it for CO2 so in the end its just costs a lot more upfront, but in the end it pays you back repeatedly with every harvest

And if you really are concerned about chewing pests, think of Silica I use it, another product is called Rhino Skin... the short of it is simply it makes the plant tougher so biting and chewing pests can't .penetrate the plant skin, and silica also helps with heat, helps with getting more trichomes, etc... all in all do some more research on Silica and you will see what I am meaning.

I been looking around to the topic for "Spray plants for Prevention mite" . But can'n find it. Please help. As I know spay plants at least once a week to prevention mite and somethings else... And I been using Azamax and MS-90. It seem ok for the vegetative stage. But now come to flower stage I just confusing ???? Is Azamax or MS-90 hurting the buds ? Should we still spray the plants in flower stage ? Please help....
