How Much Epsom Salts for Treating Possible Magnesium Deficiency?

I have one plant that has shown early signs of magnesium deficiency on some old and lower leaves as shown in the site's diagnostic pictures. I know that the fix for that is epsom salts, which are cheap and readily available, but I don't know how much to use. Presumably, I just dissolve them in water and apply to the plant's container (this is an outdoor plant in in soil).

How much is a safe amount for a plant about two feet high?

    Thanks for any help!

I use 1 teaspoonful in 1 liter or more water -on veg week #5 and flower week #5- optional for all INDOOR grows.
I also amend my soil with 1 teaspoonful/gallon which has prevented the problem.
Start with 1 teaspoonful in a gallon- and increase to 2 teaspoonful if needed in a few days.
It's all bullshit - until you smoke it!

OK, thanks! I gave it a try. Things are really tough with losing two of my four plants to the horrific heat, but the other two look like they'll be OK. This one has a couple of old leaves that look bad, but the rest of the plant is all right. I wanted to put in a safe amount of Mg just to make sure -- without overdoing it.
