    HYDRO help! Rust spots on leaves

    Hey guys! Need help to diagnose problem. Some top leaves have rust spots, it looks like calcium deficiency. i use tap water 150 ppm + CaliMagic 2.5ml/gal + Flora trio
    pH 6.0-6.3

    Hey nzic, I moved your post over to the "Get help" section of the forum. I'm a hydro grower, too, but don't have enough expertise to diagnose your leaves. I mean, it looks like the calcium deficiency pics on GWE, but let's see what others have to say.

      🌱 In hydro your pH should be 5.5-6.5. You can get deficiencies if it's over 6 too much. But normally Calcium likes it a little higher so I doubt that's the problem this time. Is it just at the bottom of the plant where the leaves aren't getting light? If so it's normal for the plant leaves to turn yellow and deficiencies if they aren't getting light. Does the plant look good overall? How do the roots look? What is the temperature and humidity? Are you using soft water (low PPM) because that makes it more likely to get a Calcium deficiency🌱
