    Input for next grow

    1. Tote upgrade. Still searching. Ideally I'd like it to be 10gal. 10"-12" high and no more than 23" in length with latches.

    2. Going to try Blue Planets Farmers Pride. Wondering if anyone has use them before.

    3. Going to go 2 tubs this time. Thinking of upgrading the air pump

4 airstones per tub and I'll route the airlines through the a/c duct.

    4. Looking into 70w aquarium chiller. Has anyone used them?

If you are stuck on the 23"W, that is going to be your limiting factor. Most 10 gallon totes are longer than that. Around 25" to 27" on average. The best I can find in that width is the Rubbermaid Roughneck 10 Gallon which is 23.9" Wide but it's only 8.7" High and doesn't latch. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Rubbermai...&wl13=&veh=sem

I plan on running a single plant centered on the tote. 2 totes side by each in a 24"x48" ⛺. I did find some totes made by Ziploc that are a bit tall but otherwise perfect. However they are )15gal and I'm afraid of too much air gap if I use. 5 gal solution. My calculations I'd have to run at least a 7.5 gal solution and preferably a 10gal solution. That means an increase in nutrients but would that mean a longer res change interval?

I'm half tempted to do a side by side:

#1 peltier cooler 15gal tote Farmers Pride nutes full line 7.5gal solution topdrip germ in system rootriot hydroton. 4-6" bucket pot.

#2 custom semipassive evaporative cooling reservoir 15 gal tote gh full line nutes 10 gal solution topdrip germ in system rootriot hydroton 4-6" bucket pot.

For this grow I know that my average Rh% will be low and res #2 should remedy this.

Sometimes I curse my education. Nevertheless this should be interesting. Side by side grow organic hydro vrs chelated. Two different cooling methods. And other surprises .

Planned strain: OG_Bubba Kush by Huboldt Seed Organization. I'll be manifolding intergalactic_harvester Frankenstien III tote lid. Possible scrog but sure of some cola support will be needed.

This tote really has my eye. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Ziploc-60...kv9N8-ONpTfyRY

make sure the mesh is tied down solid with screws or something especially if you veg long, because they will pull it off. and if they cant pull it off they try to push the net pot down, so suggest a flanged net pot. hehe. willful things.

I think your nutrient changes would still need to be the same interval regardless of size. As for the two reservoirs, that is currently how my set up is now and I am swapping to a single one from here on out. Having to deal with two reservoirs weekly is a pain in the ass! Especially nutrient changes....it's 2x the draining, 2x the cleaning, 2x the filling when I could have bought a larger tote and done all this in one! Plus, if you want to cool it, that means two coolers, which means twice the cost, twice the power used, twice the problems! Just my take on it. My next reservoir is going to be a single 20 or 27 gallon tote (not sure on which one yet...both similar in height) that will hold two plants and have a built in drain system, as well as a built in fill port for nutrient changes. I also plan on building a 150W peltier cooler for it with a thermostat that will be run outside of the grow cabinet itself (due to the heat it puts out). There will also be a check level valve (I am building that now) to know the water level without opening the lid and the whole thing will be insulated with Reflectix wrap. I am basically building the thing so that I won't have to open the lid over and over and over again. I plan on screening the plants so I don't want to have the lid moving around a lot and this way I should be able to avoid that altogether.
