That all makes perfect sense. Nebulas recommended dose for week 7 is:
    Micro:1tsp/gal
    Grow:1/2tsp/gal
    Bloom:1 1/2tsp/gal
    calimagic: 1/2tsp/gal

So after a give her a good flush I think instead of cutting the Micro out I'll do:
    Micro:1/8tsp/gal
    Grow:1/4tsp/gal
    Bloom:1/2tsp/gal
    calimagic:1/2tsp/gal
    hydroguard: 2ml/gal

I feel like with that low of a dose she will show me if she needs more of anything.
    Current grow:
Strains: White Walker Kush Fem from DNA Genetics and Blue Afghan X Sour Diesel Fem from Stranger Seeds

Medium: Kind Soil topped with Ocean Forest in 3.9gal autopots with a 12gal reservoir

    Light: Horticulture Lighting Group HLG600H

    Nutes: Plain PHd water

    Area: 20in D x 36in W x 60in H Tent, 4" inline exhaust, 4" inline intake, and 6" circulation fan.

    Methods: topping, LST, defoliation.

Germination: Dropped right in the soil

Just got home and she drank a hell of a lot of water today. PH is at 6.5 and the ppm has dropped to 198 from 295 last night so I think I'm in the clear for now. I added some PHd nute water which put the ph at 6.3 and the ppm at 230. I'm not going to stress her with another res change for now, but if stuff gets crazy again I'll flush her.

Coming up on the end of week 7. I did some more defoliation and LST this morning. Nebula was not kidding when she said auto strains have a very strong apical dominance. You can see the left side of her is staying higher. No matter how much I train it down, within a few hours it starts creeping back up. I'm going to be topping on my next run with this strain. I'm starting to see some shimmer on some of the leaves closest to the bud sites so that's exciting. I've dropped the light down to 15" and she seems to be responding very well.

So I'm on day 55 from seed and I'm a little worried about the bud formation on the main stem being too close to get good air movement, leading to potential bud rot. I positioned the cluster right in front of the intake fan which is a light breeze at best. The stems are very short and sturdy so bending is risky business. What do you guys think? Other than that things are going wonderful!

Ok, I looked closely at the shots from above, and you are right; some of those colas might be a little close together, but I think if you keep a close eye on things, you will immediately see if there's a problem.

If you can take interior fan leaves that block buds or touch them, like I wrote yesterday, but leave the exterior ones who aren't hurting anyone.

If it gets too close and crowded, consider removing a couple of bud sites to exploit growth of the others. If it's not too close/crowded, leave em. I say that remembering on my sativa grow how I finally arrived at the decision to remove three plants (sob) and leave one, the strongest, so she could take over the grow box. Which she did.

You are keeping humidity down and you have your fan going; I think for a controlled, indoor grow, you are gonna be good. You just don't want leaves laying on leaves or buds.

Thanks for all your help ATU! I went through and clipped what was laying on top of each other the best I could. I also removed some of the lower bud sites that were far behind the top sites. Hopefully she will put more energy upwards.

Got her all set up in her new home! I'm so excited. It's a lot less crowded. I'm able to leave the air pump outside of the tent to bring colder air to the res so that's a huge win in my book. The fan really moves air through the tent so I think my temperature from here on is under control without the ac unit. The carbon filter is run outside of the tent to save room.

I was able to get some decent trich pics with the jewelers loop. Still have a ways to go, but I'm seeing some amber here and there. I'm going to harvest on the earlier side of the window. I prefer the get up and go smoke.

A couple days into week 9 and things are going great. Loving the new tent. Temps stay between 74F-76F and the res temp stays at 68F, so I couldn't ask for better conditions. She got a res change last night and Grow has been completely cut out as per the feeding schedule. I'm hoping for 3 more weeks, but we will see. I plan to drop the RH down to 30%-35% at the end of the week.

Week 10, not much to report. At this point she's just drinking and getting fat. RH has been backed down to 35%. PH is staying stable. I'm thinking another 3 weeks and she will be ready to harvest on the early side of the window.

Well, it's the last rez change for this girl. The flush starts Thursday with FloraKleen and she's coming down on Saturday. She is sitting at 5.5in tall and 8in wide. What are the guesses for the mad weight I'm going to pull lol?

I'm beginning to realize that the more I understand about how the plant grows, and what happens when I make the switch to 12/12, the better the bud formation will be. I've read conflicting views on when to trim: some say all before the switch, and others say in 1st and 2nd week of 12/12, and that latter view makes more sense to me, because the plant doesn't immediately stop growth and start budding. The flowering hormone has to build up from the uninterrupted longer period of darkness for flowering to start.

I have to see what their growth does after the switch: trim the lowest parts for sure, and anything that looks like it won't hug the main trunk. It took 2-3 weeks for pistils to emerge on the first grow in the small box, and I switched them after around 3 weeks of veg growth. So I may go an extra week in veg. this time and let them really build up a little more steam, so to speak.
